Job summary

World Economic Forum in Geneva seeks a Senior Associate, Knowledge Communities, to manage a portfolio of 30+ research institutions and scientific organizations. You will build relationships, deliver tailored engagement plans, and translate scientific insights for Forum programmes and initiatives.

You will lead workstreams, coordinate with Centres and regional teams, and travel as needed to connect expertise with Forum priorities.

Qualifications

• University degree required; a master's degree is an asset.
• 4-6 years of professional experience within or with the global scientific/research ecosystem.
• Experience with scientific organizations, research institutions, labs, universities or think tanks.
• Experience managing external stakeholder relationships with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined portfolio of 30+ research institutions, building trusted relationships.
• Develop engagement plans aligning with Forum priorities and opportunities.
• Translate scientific knowledge into practical insights for Forum colleagues.
• Identify researchers and experts to connect with Forum activities.
• Lead defined workstreams, planning, timelines, risks and dependencies.
