The University of Basel, Faculty of Business and Economics, invites applications for an Open-Rank Professorship in Strategic Management to begin February 1, 2028, or at a date to be agreed. The holder is expected to excel in quantitative empirical research grounded in theory and to contribute to teaching at all levels.

We seek an educator who can develop the curriculum and eventually lead an MSc program in Management, while fostering excellence in research and mentoring early-career researchers.

• Excellent quantitative empirical researcher with a strong theoretical grounding.
• Established publication record in leading international outlets commensurate with career stage.
• Committed educator who can contribute to and further develop the curriculum at all levels and eventually lead an MSc program in Management.
