Nozomi Networks, based in Mendrisio, Switzerland, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and evolution of their OT/IoT cybersecurity platform.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in building large-scale distributed systems, exhibit strong leadership across teams, and have proficiency in one or more core programming languages. Formación

• Experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Expertise in one core language: Golang, C++, Python, or Ruby.
• Proven track record of technical leadership beyond team boundaries.
• Deep understanding of system design, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with modern backend architectures and service-oriented systems.
• Solid background in automated testing strategies (TDD, BDD).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.).
• Ability to operate in high-trust, high-confidentiality environments.

• Lead the design and evolution of distributed systems.
• Drive architecture decisions for scalability and performance.
• Own cross-team initiatives aligning engineering efforts.
• Identify and reduce technical debt systematically.

• Take ownership of mission-critical features and services.
