Job summary

Visium SA is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to own the most technically complex projects from concept through production deployment. The role combines hands-on coding with strategic decision-making and team leadership.

You will lead and mentor engineers, translate business challenges into clear technical roadmaps, and drive ML best practices and MLOps across projects, ensuring measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Expertise in ML/DL libraries and frameworks.
• Experience with data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for a technical team, ensuring architectural excellence and long-term maintainability.
• Lead and mentor junior and senior engineers, raising the technical bar across projects.
• Stay hands-on with high quality code contributions to data processing, modeling and deployment pipelines.
• Partner with clients to translate complex business challenges into technical roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Drive adoption of modern ML best practices and MLOps across design, modelling and deployment.
