Job Overview

The Sr. Manager, Process Engineering provides strategic and technical leadership for manufacturing and process engineering activities supporting DePuy Synthes operations. This roleis responsible fordeveloping,optimizing, and sustaining robust manufacturing processes that ensure quality, efficiency, and scalability. The position plays a critical role in driving continuous improvement, enabling new product introductions, and supporting business growth within a regulated medical device environment.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degreerequiredin Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical, or related discipline)
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience and Skills

Required:

• Minimum of 8years of progressive experience in process engineering or manufacturing engineering
• Prior people leadership experience managing and developing engineering teams
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process validation, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non‑technical audiences

Preferred:

• Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences manufacturing
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other structured improvement methodologies
• Experience supporting new product introductions and scale-up activities
• Knowledge of automation, equipment integration, and advanced manufacturing technologies
• Experience leading capital projects or large-scale process improvements
