A global biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Sr Director, Head of Mid-Size Countries (MSC) to oversee the successful launch of its products in selected markets. The role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and leading a high-performing team in commercial operations. Candidates should have significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the rare disease sector. The Sr Director, Head of Mid-Size Countries (MSC) position will play a pivotal role in establishing our presence (fit for purpose) in MSCs where we intend to launch and ensure successful launch of our product (and any follow-on products) in those markets. In addition, this person will also be responsible for selecting, on-boarding and managing Distributor partners that will launch Acadia’s products in selected EU countries where Acadia will not operate directly. Reporting directly to the SVP, GM of Europe, this position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operations and driving commercial success in those markets.
Advanced degree in a Life Science, pharma, biotech, Business Administration or other related area. Targeting 15 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing commercial operations above the country level. Fluent in English and preferably at least one local (MSC) languages. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
