Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Delivery Solutions Architect in Zürich, Switzerland to partner with Sales, Solutions Architecture, and Field Engineering.

You will accelerate adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, designing and scaling complex data and AI solutions across business units and geographies. You will lead technical execution strategies for high-value accounts, mentor teams, and contribute to reusable frameworks and best practices that scale beyond individual engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture, technical consulting, professional services, data engineering, or related senior technical role.
• Experience leading technical strategy and architecture for high-value or highly complex customer environments.
• Experience navigating complex programs across multiple business units, geographies, or workstreams.
• Deep expertise in Data and AI domains with strong knowledge of distributed data systems and cloud architectures.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, or similar languages.
• Experience designing secure, governed, scalable architectures across cloud environments.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems using first-principles thinking and structured analysis.
• Proven ability to influence senior technical stakeholders and executive audiences.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Track record of driving customer adoption and measurable outcomes through technical leadership.
• Experience creating reusable technical frameworks and programs.

What We Look For
