Job summary

On is seeking a Specialist – Global Operations Finance Controller for a 10-month contract to support the Global Operations Finance team. The role focuses on controlling within an international environment, data-driven insights, and strong accounting fundamentals to improve efficiency and growth.

The successful candidate will partner with wider Finance and Operations teams, drive standard costs and transfer pricing, and ensure internal controls and audits are supported.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in Controlling, Auditing or Accounting.
• Experience in Operations or Supply Chain Finance preferred.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and Operations to influence decisions through COGS analysis.
• Deliver monthly COGS variance analysis and support budgets, forecasts and long-range plans.
• Prepare timely financial reports and provide commentary on performance for stakeholders.

One of the fastest-growing premium sportswear brands is seeking a Specialist – Global Operations Finance Controller on a 10-month contract to join the Global Operations Finance team. With your experience in controlling within an international environment, alongside your affinity for data-driven decision-making, and your strong accounting foundation your mission will be to bring insight and oversight to our global operations. Critical to the success of this role is a collaborative and curious mindset and a desire to influence On’s growth journey.Your Mission:- Business partner with wider Finance and Operations teams to influence decisions by analyzing COGS data and delivering actionable insights.- Deliver monthly variance analysis on COGS, drive and create budget, forecasts and long range planning cycles.- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, provide commentary into business performance, supporting key stakeholders in decision-making.- Coordinate the update of standard costs and transfer prices, driving process improvements and ensuring alignment across finance and operations.- Ensure compliance with finance accounting policies & internal controls, support internal/external audit cycles.- Maintain and enhance AI driven reporting and automated workflowsYour story:- Proven professional experience including Controlling, Auditing or Accounting.- Previous experience in Operations or Supply Chain Finance.- Proficiency in financial modeling, variance analysis, with hands on experience working with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 experience preferred).- Good understanding of COGS accounting principles- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to combine classical metrics with innovative storytelling, and a philosophy of letting data find a voice.- Excellent cross-functional team-worker, able to demystify financials and provide the support to the business to deliver the wow.- Curious and self-driven, with a strong desire to challenge the status quo, continuously learn, and make a tangible impact on the company’s growth and operational efficiency.- AI enthusiast focused on innovative, out-of-the-box solutions to streamline operations and boost processes automation and organizational efficiency.- Excellent English skills.About the Team:We are the advanced navigators of On.
