Responsibilities

• Maintenance and development of the occupational safety and health protection system.
• Conduct risk analyses.
• Create and maintain safety statistics.
• Advise management on occupational safety, health and environmental protection.
• Ensure compliance with transport of dangerous goods rules (ADR/RID).
• Assist in acquiring safety-compliant work equipment.
• Create and file safety data sheets with necessary information.
• Label hazardous substances on products and packaging for commercial and private users.
• Register and deregister product entries with BAG as needed.

You bring...

• Completed technical vocational training or further education/studies as an Environmental Manager HF
• Safety specialist EKAS or federal diploma specialist in occupational safety and health protection (ASGS) or similar.
• Experience with EHS industry solutions
• Training as a hazardous goods officer ADR/RID (advantageous)
• Good German and English language skills, both spoken and written (French is an advantage)
• Good user knowledge of MS Office
• Willingness to further develop within the area of work
• Experience in creating safety data sheets and CLP labeling of products

Your tasks

• Maintenance, care, and further development of the occupational safety and health protection system as well as promoting the safety culture
• Conducting risk analyses
• Creating and maintaining statistics
• Advising and supporting management regarding occupational safety, health, and environmental protection
• Compliance with legislation on the transport of dangerous goods by road, rail, and sea
• Participating in the procurement of safety-compliant work equipment
• Creating and filing safety data sheets, including obtaining necessary information
• Co-responsibility for the correct labeling (creation of hazardous substance labels) of products and packaging for commercial and private users
• Registration and, if necessary, deregistration and management of product entries with the BAG
