LGT Capital Partners is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to drive firm-wide adoption of strategic technologies, from architectural vision to scalable delivery. You will own solutions and influence how technology is used across the organization.

The role spans concept design through hands-on delivery, focusing on building reusable, enterprise-grade capabilities and contributing to the enterprise technology strategy with AI and shared platforms.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Software Engineer with hands-on design and delivery of enterprise-scale software ecosystems.
• Experience with AI, cloud architecture and shared platforms; scaling complex enterprise solutions.
• Knowledge of software lifecycles, governance, DevOps, CI/CD, QA, and operational readiness.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management, with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent English; German language is a plus.

Within the Solution Architecture and Engineering IT organization, we are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to drive the firm-wide adoption of strategic technologies and the delivery of technology projects, from architectural vision to scalable implementation.

This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible, firm-wide impact, with real ownership to take responsibility for solutions and directly influence how technology is used across the organization. It spans the full lifecycle from concept and architectural design through to hands-on delivery and operationalization, with a strong focus on building reusable, enterprise-grade capabilities.

The Solution Architect will play a key role in enabling business-critical initiatives and in driving the smart, sustainable adoption of technology to deliver measurable business value at scale, increased efficiency, and long-term evolution of our architectural and technology landscape.

The key tasks include:

• Design, implement, and continuously evolve the firm's software and technology landscape . Actively guide the effective adoption of technology across projects and business lines in close collaboration with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders
• Take end-to-end ownership of complex initiatives , being accountable for architectural and technology decisions and driving them through to successful, scalable, and sustainable implementation and adoption
• Contribute to defining and driving the enterprise technology strategy and adoption of shared, scalable platforms and technologies (including AI) ensuring solutions are designed for reliability, reusability, long-term impact, and business value
• Continuously explore and assess emerging technologies, tools, and architectural approaches , identifying opportunities to drive innovation, enhance efficiency, and enable scalable adoption of strategic capabilities
• Design and drive technical solutions that enable integration, optimization, and automation of business processes , working closely with business and platform management
• Co-steer the demand and prioritization process together with other Solution Architects and Business Owners, ensuring alignment with the target architecture, technology strategy, and business value objectives

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Solution Architect and/or Lead Software Engineer , with a strong track record of hands-on design and delivery of enterprise-scale software ecosystems
• Demonstrated, practical expertise in key enabling technologies such as AI, cloud architecture , and shared platforms, including experience implementing and scaling solutions in complex enterprise environments
• Deep understanding of modern software development lifecycles and enterprise engineering practices, including architecture governance, DevOps, CI/CD, QA, and operational readiness
• Strong hands-on mindset combined with a proactive curiosity to learn, experiment, and explore new technologies , particularly in fast-evolving areas such as AI and automation
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills , with the ability to work effectively across business lines and influence senior stakeholders to drive aligned, firm-wide outcomes
• Clear and confident communicator , able to translate complex technical concepts into concise, audience-appropriate messages for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in financial services and/or asset management is an advantage
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills; German is a plus
