Zusammenfassung

Die Schweizerische Post AG is looking for an experienced developer platform engineer to shape a modern developer experience. You will build and evolve an internal portal based on Backstage, create templates for rapid app delivery, and craft developer-facing tools using JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.

You will integrate Java and C# stacks, tailor GitHub Actions for CI/CD, and collaborate across platform, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver reliable software delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Experience building a developer portal and internal tools.
• Familiarity with Backstage or similar platforms.
• Experience incorporating CI/CD practices into platforms.

Your Area of Responsibility

• You develop and continuously improve our internal developer portal based on Backstage.
• Additionally, you create application skeletons and templates that enable development teams to start new applications efficiently and bring in your expertise effectively.
• You build developer-facing tools and workflows using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern web technologies.
• Furthermore, you integrate existing application stacks, particularly in Java and/or C# environments, and apply your know-how successfully.
• You develop and maintain tailor-made GitHub Actions for our CI/CD environment and automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Moreover, you collaborate closely with software engineering, DevOps, and platform teams and support them with questions related to platforms, tooling, and software delivery, allowing you to make a meaningful contribution.
• You monitor the developer experience continuously and implement improvements where needed.
