You are responsible for translating system architecture, defined by the System Architect, into robust, scalable, and secure software architecture solutions. The Software Architect ensures the success of software development by overseeing the quality of the team's work and aligning software designs with BUCHI's strategic goals. You provide technical leadership, mentoring junior and professional engineers and ensuring that software architecture meets both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Ensure that the architectural design fulfills the stakeholder requirements and adheres to system-, organizational, and regulatory constraints.
• Assist Product Owners in defining technical enablers and non-functional requirements, ensuring they are aligned with the software architecture.
• Technical Leadership, quality assurance and collaboration with the System Architect, DevSecOps Engineers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure system and software architecture alignment
• Ensure that the architecture remains consistent and coherent throughout the development process
• Produce documentation that describes the software architecture according to industry best practices
• Track and manage technical debt and risks to ensure long-term system maintainability, reduce potential future costs, and mitigate the impact on project timelines and software quality
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks, ensuring software solutions are secure and resilient.

What skills do you need to bring?

• Programming proficiency and experience particularly with .NET in object-oriented manner
• Strong understanding of architectural methodologies and software design patterns
• Extensive experience with software design, engineering practices, and software development lifecycle processes and data modelling
• Experience with distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, hexagonal architectures, and domain-driven design preferred
• Proficiency in software architecture documentation and technical specifications and knowledge of application security principles and DevOps methodologies
• Hands-on experience with scalable, maintainable, and secure software systems
• Ability to lead and mentor developers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
