Job summary

Kellerhals Carrard Startup & Venture Capital Team in Zurich seeks a seasoned lawyer with a passion for technology, venture capital, and growth-orientated deals. Fluency in German and English, a Swiss law degree, and demonstrated startup or VC experience are essential.

You will structure financing rounds, protect intellectual property, design employee incentive plans, and oversee due diligence and deal terms for founders, startups, investors and corporate buyers in Switzerland and beyond.

Qualifications

• Swiss law degree and several years of practical experience in Swiss law, venture capital transactions and related fields.
• Fluent German and English; confident written and spoken communication in both languages.
• Strong academic record and attention to detail; client-focused mindset.
• Ability to work across teams, delegate when needed, and deliver precise legal advice.
• Experience in startup ecosystem and venture financing, including equity structures.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to technology startups and investors, including venture financings and related matters.
• Negotiate deal terms, coordinate due diligence, and structure financing rounds.
• Protect intellectual property and design employee incentive plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisers on complex transactions.
