Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an experienced Application V&V Engineer to lead verification and validation across multi-subsystem interfaces in Signy, Switzerland. You will partner with System Engineering, Software and Quality teams to ensure high-quality, regulatory-compliant product verification and risk management.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or life sciences field.
• 10+ years of experience in new product development, product care, project management, and manufacturing science & technology.
• Proven expertise in defining, planning, and executing Verification & Validation strategies and activities.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and cGMP for US and European markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver System and Application Verification & Validation activities, including scope, plans, methods, execution, traceability, risk management and reporting.
• Collaborate with System Engineering, Biology, Application, Software, Quality, Product Management, Project Management, and Product Engineering teams to ensure integrated system performance.
• Contribute to product roadmaps and project plans; participate in Agile development activities like sprint planning and stand-ups.
• Serve as SME for V&V, advising on test methodologies, risk-based approaches, and regulatory-compliant practices; contribute to design/project reviews.
• Support investigation and resolution of defects and gaps at system interfaces with cross-functional teams.
• Provide mentorship to V&V engineers and promote best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement of V&V activities through process/tool optimization.
