Base pay range

CHF65.00/hr - CHF85.00/hr

Role Overview

We are working with a leading European technology group, supporting a major programme of work within mission-critical systems. They are seeking a Senior UX Designer who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment—someone confident in leading UX/UI projects and stakeholder discussions at all levels.

This role requires technical skills in UX and graphic design, along with resilience to handle high-pressure situations and manage complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead UX design for high-performance applications, including virtual control interfaces and next-generation user systems.
  • Create user interfaces for real-time operational software (e.g., tactical displays, AR overlays, command systems).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design architects, strategists, and engineers.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and drive solutions across business levels.
  • Apply UX expertise with a strong graphic design foundation (typography, layout, UI architecture).
  • Champion iterative design through user testing, feedback, and performance evaluations.
Project Focus
  • Complex control software interfaces, multi-screen and navigation systems.
  • Augmented reality display solutions with advanced layering and transparency.
  • Hybrid platforms combining industrial design, simulation, and control systems.
  • Long-term projects (minimum 2 years) with scope for sustained involvement.
Candidate Profile
  • Experienced UX Designer with solid graphic design skills.
  • Proven ability to lead UX/UI projects from concept to delivery.
  • Resilient, solutions-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and conflict resolution.
  • Eligible to work in Switzerland or holding an EU passport/permit.
  • Experience with mission-critical, defence, aerospace, or complex engineering systems is advantageous.
