Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior Svelte Developer based in Switzerland to build a high‑performance frontend for a growing B2B platform.

You will shape the frontend architecture with SvelteKit, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, develop a scalable design system, and optimize Core Web Vitals in a fully remote, international setting. Collaboration with product and backend teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Svelte and SvelteKit in production
• Expertise in TypeScript and modern JavaScript patterns
• Deep Tailwind CSS experience and design token strategies
• Strong frontend fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, accessibility
• Proven performance engineering using real-user data
• Experience with greenfield frontend architectures
• Experience building reusable component libraries and design systems
• Knowledge of Svelte state management (stores, context)
• Hands-on testing with Vitest and end-to-end testing with Playwright
• Experience with GitHub workflows, PRs, CI/CD
• Experience with AI-assisted coding workflows is a plus
• Strong technical communication and collaboration skills
• Autonomy and ownership in a startup environment

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and build a modern frontend from scratch using SvelteKit, TS, Tailwind
• Define rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR, edge)
• Aim for LCP <2s, INP <200ms, CLS <0.1 with real-user data
• Build reusable component library and scalable design system
• Translate requirements into accessible, responsive UI components
• Implement SEO, metadata, structured data, sitemaps, canonical URLs
• Establish frontend testing standards with Vitest and Playwright
• Improve developer experience with linting, type checks, CI/CD gates
• Lead code reviews and document architectural decisions (ADRs)
• Integrate frontend with backend APIs and contribute to API design
• Support deployments on AWS and monitor performance with Lighthouse/WebPageTest
• Drive AI-assisted development while maintaining quality and security
• Collaborate with distributed teams and own technical decisions
