Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking senior engineers to advance its AI platform, focusing on performance optimizations in deep learning frameworks using JAX. You will design core components, optimize CPU/GPU performance, and collaborate with researchers to deliver scalable, modular tooling for training and analysis across a range of DL solutions.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of experience, strong C/C++ and Python skills, and a solid background in ML frameworks and numerical libraries.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years relevant experience.
• C/C++ and Python programming.
• Experience with ML frameworks and their internals (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Proven ability developing customer-facing solutions, balancing feature requests and bugs.
• Proven technical foundation in CPU and GPU architectures, numeric libraries, modular software design.
• Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Play meaningful role in NVIDIA's effort in contributing to JAX.
• Design and implement JAX core components and drive peak performance.
• Work with AI researchers to build future-proof models.
• Build tools to increase efficiency of teams developing AI-based systems.
• Bridge gaps between numerical computing, simulation and deep learning research and applications.
