Job summary

Bühler Group in Switzerland is seeking a Senior Software Developer/Architect to lead the machine software platform, combining hands-on software development with architectural responsibility across two development teams. You will shape platform architecture and drive evolution using .NET/C#, Angular, and TypeScript, delivering scalable, maintainable solutions across Bühler Group.

Qualifications

• Degree from a university, university of applied sciences, or higher technical college in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience as a Senior Software Developer/Architect, or in a comparable senior technical role, ideally with strong expertise in .NET/C#; Angular and TypeScript would be a plus
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical, architectural, and organizational topics clearly and concisely to developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders
• Collaborative and pragmatic team player with the ability to build strong relationships, influence without direct authority, and mobilize people around a shared technical vision
• Experience working in international and hybrid development environments, combined with good English skills; German is an advantage

• Support Product Owners in defining technical enablers and ensure that maintenance and lifecycle topics are reflected in the backlog based on business needs

Bühler's strategic JointForces program is shaping the future user interface and software platform for more than 100 machine types used in the production of chocolate, flour, coffee, animal feed, cornflakes, paints, and many other products. To help turn this vision into a scalable global platform, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer/Architect .NET/C#. In this key role, you will combine hands‑on technical leadership with architectural responsibility, guide two development teams, and drive the continuous evolution and adoption of our machine software platform across the Bühler Group.
