Job summary

Worldline, a global payments technology leader, in Zürich seeks a Security Officer to anchor IT and business security practices across the group in a regulated environment. You will own security relationships with business units, design advanced security solutions, oversee patch management, coordinate with suppliers, and lead incident response and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

The role requires a Bachelor in IT/security, relevant certifications, 5+ years' experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor in IT, IT security, engineering or equivalent.
• Security certification (e.g. CISSP, CEH) is a strong plus.
• Minimum 5 years of IT security experience.
• Experience navigating complex environments.
• German language skills are mandatory; English fluency required for internal communication.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud security and DevOps is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO27001 and Dora security frameworks is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Owns the security relationship with the Business Units as primary contact for security topics.
• Designing and implementing state-of-the-art security solutions aligned with directives.
• Developing and enforcing security best practices including patch management.
• Managing third-party suppliers to ensure security compliance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security into projects.
• Overseeing mitigation actions from the Risk Treatment Plan and incident response.
