This is an AI-first engineering role. You will combine deep Salesforce expertise with modern AI capabilities to design and build intelligent solutions that improve customer experiences, automate complex processes, accelerate development, and unlock new business value.

The ideal candidate is not simply an experienced Salesforce developer—to you is curious about how AI can fundamentally change the way software is designed, developed, tested, operated, and experienced by users.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, AI-enabled Salesforce solutions.
• Build high-quality Salesforce components using Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, integrations, and automation.
• Leverage Salesforce’s evolving AI capabilities, including Agentforce, Einstein, Data Cloud, AI-powered automation, and intelligent agents, where appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to apply generative AI and intelligent automation to business processes and developer workflows.
• Design solutions that combine Salesforce data, enterprise systems, APIs, and AI services.
• Evaluate AI use cases and translate business problems into practical, scalable technology solutions.

• Contribute to technical architecture and participate in discussions around the future evolution of the Salesforce platform.

• Investigate and resolve technical incidents and production issues.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve existing Salesforce solutions through automation, AI, simplification, and modern engineering practices.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including architecture decisions and AI solution designs.
• Mentor developers and actively share knowledge across the engineering community.

Technical Requirements

Salesforce Engineering

• Strong experience with Salesforce development and implementation.
• Advanced knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, APIs, integrations, and Salesforce automation.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Patterns and Salesforce architecture.
• Extensive experience with automated testing and engineering best practices.
• Experience analysing and resolving Salesforce technical incidents.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce multitenant architecture, governor limits, security, and scalability.
• Ability to contribute to and challenge Salesforce architectural decisions.
• Practical understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, and AI-powered automation.
• Experience using AI coding assistants or AI-enabled developer tools.
• Understanding of how enterprise data can be securely used with AI.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein, Data Cloud, or comparable Salesforce AI technologies.
• Understanding of AI considerations including security, privacy, hallucination, grounding, governance, evaluation, and responsible AI.
• Ability to identify appropriate AI use cases and distinguish them from situations where traditional software engineering is the better solution.

Software Engineering

• Full-stack development experience and the ability to deliver high-quality software components.
• Familiarity with Java or .NET/C# development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and software architecture.
• Experience with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external enterprise platforms and services.
