SCOR seeks a Senior Software & Platform Engineer to join its risk modelling platform team in Zürich. You will craft end-to-end software across Python, cloud, and DevOps, understanding infrastructure and data flows while enabling scalable model execution.

You will collaborate with actuaries, data engineers, and developers to advance the platform, integrate with strategic data tools, and push for continuous improvement with modern tech like Databricks and containers.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience building complex, scalable web applications.
• Proven hands-on experience designing and operating solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Quantitative or analytical background with risk modelling concepts.
• Proficient understanding of Git and DevOps standards.
• Thorough knowledge of Python and Docker.
• Experience with web development and architecture.

Aufgaben

• Design, efficient, testable, reusable, Python code for a web platform with Docker.
• Develop front-end and back-end for task orchestration and cloud-based solutions.
• Build and deploy solutions on Microsoft Azure and manage data workflows.
• Support statistical modelling and model execution frameworks for large-scale computations.
• Collaborate with IT, data teams, and quantitative developers to translate needs into robust solutions.
