Swiss Life Asset Managers is seeking a Senior Risk Manager Infrastructure (f/m/d) based in Zürich. You will lead a cross-country risk team, drive independent risk assessments for infrastructure investments and monitor risk across the lifecycle, collaborating with investment teams and senior management in a dynamic, international setting.

• Master’s degree in business administration, finance or engineering; CFA/FRM/ERP/CAIA desirable.
• 6-10 years of experience in Infrastructure, Investment Management, Private Equity, Private Debt or Risk Management.
• Experience leading teams, projects or specialist groups within a matrix or functional leadership environment.
• Experience interacting with senior investment professionals and executive stakeholders.
• Experience with portfolio analytics, scenario analysis and quantitative risk assessment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct independent pre-transaction risk assessments and prepare risk recommendations for infrastructure investments.
• Post-transaction risk monitoring with periodic reporting to Risk Committees.
• Periodic review of asset valuations, forecast assumptions and performance; participate in Valuation Committees.
• Support development of forward-looking risk indicators, scenario analysis and stress testing capabilities.
• Represent Risk Management in projects and groups related to infrastructure and private market investments.
• Ad-hoc risk analysis for senior management and support of investment teams.

Risk Management Switzerland within the overall organization of Swiss Life Asset Managers ensures that risks are systematically identified, analyzed, assessed, monitored and managed on the collective investment scheme level. Based at the head office in Zurich, the department is responsible for Investment Compliance, Risk Management Securities, Risk Management Real Assets and Qualitative Risk Management. The Real Assets team is particularly dedicated to risk management for the asset classes Infrastructure and Real Estate.

For the Risk Management Real Assets team , we are looking for a highly motivated full-time Senior Risk Manager Infrastructure (f/m/d).

In our organization, you’ll play a leading role in further developing Infrastructure Risk Management and providing independent challenge for some of Swiss Life Asset Managers’ most significant investments. Working closely with investment teams, senior management and international stakeholders, you will contribute to informed decision-making across the full infrastructure investment lifecycle. The role offers a unique opportunity to influence risk strategy, portfolio oversight and decision-making across a broad range of private market investments while working in an international environment with colleagues across Switzerland, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the UK and the Nordics.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership and professional guidance to a small team of risk professionals across different countries and entities
• Conduct independent pre-transaction risk assessments and prepare risk recommendations for infrastructure investment decisions in close collaboration with the investment teams
• Post-transaction risk monitoring at investment and fund level with periodic reporting to the respective Risk Committees
• Periodic review of asset valuations, forecast assumptions and performance with participation in Valuation Committees
• Support the development of forward-looking risk indicators, scenario analysis and stress testing capabilities
• Represent Risk Management in projects and working groups related to infrastructure and private market investments
• Ad-hoc risk analysis for senior management and support of investment teams through independent risk assessments

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in business administration, finance or engineering, subject-specific further education (CFA, FRM, ERP, CAIA) desired
• 6-10 years of relevant experience within Infrastructure, Investment Management, Private Equity, Private Debt or Risk Management
• Experience leading teams, projects or specialist groups, ideally within a matrix or functional leadership environment
• Experience interacting with and constructively challenging senior investment professionals and executive stakeholders
• Experience with portfolio analytics, scenario analysis and quantitative risk assessment is an advantage
• Exact, structured as well as result-oriented way of working
• Communicative and cooperative personality with pleasure in working with various colleagues in different countries
• Very good English and good German skills. French is an advantage.
