Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Staff Research Scientist - Interactive Avatars in Switzerland. This senior role focuses on building interactive, avatar-based video agents using diffusion models and multimodal data.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in machine learning with diffusion models, ideally applied to video generation or avatar generation.
Strong publication record or equivalent impact in top conferences (CVPR/ICCV/ECCV/NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR/SIGGRAPH).
Proven ability to lead a small research team and mentor junior researchers.
Proficiency in PyTorch and modern ML tooling for large-scale model training.

Responsibilities

Define research direction and roadmap for dyadic interaction modeling.
Advance perceptual capabilities of interactive AI agents using audio and video inputs.
Develop and post-train multimodal models for rich dyadic interactions.
Lead and mentor researchers, shaping a high-performing research culture.
Communicate research results clearly to research and cross-functional teams.
