Zusammenfassung

SCOR is seeking a Quant DevOps Engineer to own the application platform, cloud infrastructure, and data execution environment for large-scale, data-heavy workloads. The role focuses on reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency of Databricks clusters and memory-intensive systems.

You will collaborate with IT operations, security, and data teams to deliver stable, scalable infrastructure and efficient pipelines, while driving cost optimization and platform governance.

Qualifikationen

• Background in Insurance, Finance, or Scientific/High-performance Computing environments.
• Strong experience in platform or DevOps engineering within production environments.
• Solid expertise in cloud infrastructure, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and container platforms.
• Proven experience operating data-intensive and compute-heavy systems.
• Senior-level autonomy and decision-making capability.
• Ownership mindset and ability to interface across teams.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end platform and production model runs (Databricks, Servers).
• Manage Azure cloud infrastructure including VMs, storage, IAM and networking.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Own Docker image creation, lifecycle, and security governance.
• Maintain and evolve Infrastructure as Code with Terraform; manage configuration tools.
• Operate observability platforms (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana) and security tooling.
• Coordinate with IT Operations, Security and Governance bodies.
