Hitachi Energy AG in Switzerland seeks a Senior Project Control Engineer to lead control engineering activities across projects. You will plan hardware/software concepts, coordinate interfaces with customers and subsuppliers, and drive hardware/interface definitions. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on MATLAB/Simulink experience; Hidraw advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of process and power electronics control and software design (OLC, CLC, Protection, HMI).
• Familiarity with OPC, IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3 protocols.
• Willingness to travel globally (≈20%).
• Fluency in English and German.

Your background

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s, from a university or university of applied sciences)

• Min. 5 years of relevant working experience

• Hands‑on experience with MATLAB / Simulink is essential, with structed text programming and Hidraw as added advantage

• Strong knowledge of process and power electronics control and software design (e.g. OLC, CLC, Protection, HMI)

• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g. OPC, IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3) is a plus

• Initial experience in testing, commissioning, or applied engineering is an advantage

• Willingness to travel globally for commissioning assignments (approx. 20% of working time)

• Fluency in English and German
