Zusammenfassung

Coherent Corp. Zurich seeks an experienced lithography specialist to develop, optimize, and qualify DUV processes for high‑yield semiconductor manufacturing.

You will work onsite in Zurich, collaborating with Process Integration, R&D, and manufacturing teams to transfer knowledge and implement robust process changes. The role demands strong expertise in lithography, DOE, data analysis, and cross‑functional leadership, with excellent English and German communication.

Qualifikationen

  • Master's or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Technology, Microtechnology, or related field.
  • Several years of experience in semiconductors, photonics, MEMS, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Strong experience in lithography process development and manufacturing support.

Aufgaben

  • Develop, implement and optimize advanced DUV photolithography processes, including resist processing, exposure and pattern definition.
  • Lead the development and qualification of new lithography processes, including definition of process windows, stability and reproducibility.
  • Support the setup, commissioning and process qualification of new lithography equipment and track systems.
  • Define and continuously improve lithography process flows in close collaboration with Process Integration and R&D.
  • Perform process characterization, Design of Experiments (DOE) studies and data analysis to establish robust and high-yield processes.
  • Drive problem solving and root cause analysis during process introduction and ramp-up.
  • Collaborate closely with internal reference sites to transfer knowledge and align with proven process implementations.
  • Act as technical driver for lithography process build-up and contribute to establishing internal expertise in this field.
  • Interface with equipment suppliers to support process development, troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Coordinate with engineering, metrology, facility and manufacturing teams to ensure successful process introduction, including the application of metrology methods (e.g. CD-SEM) to monitor, control and optimize lithography processes.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Technology, Microtechnology, or related field.
  • Several years of experience in semiconductors, photonics, MEMS, or advanced manufacturing environments.
Additional Skills And Requirements
  • Strong experience in lithography process development and manufacturing support.
  • Experience with advanced lithography systems, preferably steppers or scanners.
  • Demonstrated experience leading equipment installations, qualifications, or technology transfer projects.
  • Experience with process characterization, DOE, statistical analysis, and process control methodologies.
  • Strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven approach to process development and decision-making.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of driving complex projects independently.
  • Very good written and spoken English and German skills.
