Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Media Strategy Development
- Lead the creation of comprehensive TV media plans based on client goals, brand objectives, and deep audience insights.
- Research and identify the most suitable TV networks, programs, and time slots to target specific audiences across linear TV, cable, and OTT platforms.
- Collaborate with the media buying team to ensure alignment between strategy and execution, optimizing campaigns for maximum impact.
Audience Targeting & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth analysis of target audience behaviors, demographics, and viewing preferences using advanced media research tools like Instar, Kantar, and other analytics platforms.
- Identify key viewing patterns and audience segments, recommending strategies to reach them effectively.
Budget Planning & Allocation
- Develop and manage TV media plans within allocated budgets, balancing cost-efficiency with campaign goals and ensuring optimal ROI.
- Provide strategic recommendations on the distribution of TV spend across various networks and channels.
- Work closely with media buyers to ensure seamless execution of the plans and meet campaign deadlines.
Market & Competitor Research
- Lead ongoing market research efforts to stay ahead of media trends, industry changes, and emerging technologies such as OTT and streaming.
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities for TV advertising, including special events, new channels, and trends in consumer media consumption.
Campaign Tracking & Optimization
- Oversee the monitoring and analysis of TV campaign performance, focusing on reach, frequency, GRPs, and other key metrics.
- Use insights from performance data to recommend real-time optimizations, such as reallocating ad spend or adjusting placements.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Lead client presentations and discussions around TV media plans, strategies, and performance results.
- Maintain strong relationships with TV networks, media vendors, and other key stakeholders to ensure campaign alignment and successful outcomes.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on media strategies and how best to achieve their goals.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior TV planners, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in media planning.
- Support the training and development of the planning team to ensure best practices and continuous improvement.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and provide strategic direction.
