You will build in-house modeling tools, integrate with commercial solvers, and work with magnet engineers to translate physics into robust engineering solutions.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Computational Engineering, or related field.
• Strong background in electromagnetics and physics-based numerical modeling (FEM, nonlinear coupled systems).
• Experience with multiphysics and transient simulations.
• Proficiency in Python or C++ for internal tools.

Aufgaben

• Develop predictive EM-thermal models for superconducting magnet behavior across steady-state and transient regimes.
• Build internal tools and pipelines for design sweeps, optimization, and uncertainty quantification.
• Collaborate with magnet engineers, quench protection specialists, and test engineers to inform hardware decisions.
