Randstad, on behalf of a leading international MedTech company, seeks a Senior COGS Transformation Consultant for a 6-month project in Zurich. The role is primarily on-site with limited hybrid options, and involves driving a cross-functional review of cost of goods sold to unlock sustainable savings.

You will validate baselines, quantify opportunities, and deliver an actionable roadmap grounded in Lean and Total Cost of Ownership, while ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience leading Operational Excellence and COGS reduction initiatives.
• Experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments, with MedTech/Medical Device exposure preferred.
• Strong expertise in Lean, Value Stream Mapping, waste elimination, and TCO analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and quality systems in regulated settings.

Aufgaben

• Lead a cross-functional review of COGS reduction opportunities across 2 NPI programs.
• Validate cost baseline, identify and quantify sustainable opportunities, and prioritize initiatives.
• Develop an actionable roadmap using Total Cost of Ownership and Lean principles.
• Assess operations, manufacturing workflows, material and supplier cost drivers, quality activities, yield, and make-versus-buy strategies.
