Job summary

UN Secretariat seeks a senior policy engagement professional to strengthen dialogue with central banks, regulators and policymakers. You will translate evolving policy insights for members and support resources that connect banking commitments with the regulatory landscape.

The role emphasizes collaboration in an international, multicultural setting, leveraging strong drafting and project management skills to advance sustainable finance initiatives within the UN system.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in finance, law, economics, public administration, business administration, marketing, communications, or international relations.
• Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Master’s.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in banking regulation, supervision, policy or sustainable finance.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen engagement with central banks, regulators, supervisors and policymakers.
• Translate policy and regulatory developments into practical insights for UNEP FI members.
• Support development of resources and partnerships that connect banking commitments with policy landscapes.
• Coordinate dialogue, knowledge exchange and relationship-building initiatives.
• Ensure integration of UN core values in all activities.
