CSL in Switzerland seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Insights & Analytics to serve as a strategic partner for the Midsized EMEA Markets. You will translate complex market and financial data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for senior leaders, guiding annual and multi-year planning, forecasting, and performance management across a diverse market portfolio.

You will combine internal and external data, identify opportunities and risks, and support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within pharma or life sciences.
• Strong background in Insights & Analytics, FP&A/Finance, or a comparable quantitative function.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights for senior stakeholders.
• Strong forecasting, planning and performance analysis with strategic thinking.
• Excellent business partnering and presentation skills with stakeholder influence.

Senior Manager, Insights & Analytics – Midsized EMEA Markets (100%) (m/f/d)

In this role, you will act as a strategic Insights & Analytics business partner to our Midsized EMEA Markets organization, translating complex market, customer, financial and commercial data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for senior business leaders.

You will bring together available internal and external data to create transparency around business and market performance, identify opportunities and risks, and help answer critical commercial questions – from how our brands are performing relative to the market to where future growth opportunities exist. Working closely with the Cluster Head, affiliate leadership, brand teams and other commercial stakeholders, you will support annual and multi-year business planning, forecasting, performance management and strategic decision-making across a diverse portfolio of markets.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic Insights & Analytics business partner to the Midsized EMEA Markets organization, translating complex market, customer, financial and commercial data into actionable insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Integrate internal and external data to assess business and market performance, identify key drivers, opportunities and risks, and support strategic and tactical decision-making.
• Lead analytical support for annual and multi-year business planning, forecasting and scenario modelling, challenging assumptions and providing recommendations to optimize business performance.
• Support regular performance reviews through meaningful KPIs, dashboards and analyses, helping senior stakeholders understand performance relative to market and determine appropriate actions.
• Deliver integrated market, customer, competitor and brand insights, including business-impact and ROI assessments to support investment and resource-allocation decisions.
• Connect affiliates with above-market and global I&A capabilities, effectively coordinating shared-service resources and ensuring high-quality analytical support.
• Oversee relevant commercial data, reporting and external data partners, ensuring data quality and continuously improving analytics, forecasting and reporting capabilities across the cluster.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Life Sciences, Analytics or another relevant discipline.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or broader life-sciences industry.
• Strong background in Insights & Analytics, Business Insights, FP&A/Finance, Commercial Excellence, Sales Force Effectiveness, Market Access & Pricing, forecasting/planning, or a comparable quantitatively driven commercial function.
• Demonstrated ability to work with complex commercial and market data and translate analysis into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
• Strong experience in forecasting, business planning and performance analysis, combined with sound commercial understanding and strategic thinking.
• Excellent business-partnering, communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage, influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience with large datasets; advanced Excel skills and familiarity with visualization/reporting tools such as Power BI are advantageous.
• Ability to work independently across functions, markets and geographies within an international matrix organization.
• Fluent English is required; German language skills are an advantage.
