You will build high-performance services with Java, Spring and Spring Boot, optimise latency, and ensure data integrity across complex integrations.

The contract is a 12-month assignment with extension possibilities, starting 01.10.2027, with hybrid work in Zurich and flexible start date. English fluency required.

• Design and evolve robust distributed systems for scalable financial workloads.

• Unix/Linux and bash scripting
• API security: OAuth2, IAM concepts, and secure API design
• Strong code review practices and genuine pride in code quality
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in an agile environment
• Containerisation: Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud platforms — Microsoft Azure preferred
• Strong ownership mindset with focus on business impact and reliability
• Analytical, performance- and quality-driven approach to problem solving
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions

• Prior experience in the financial industry - nice to have
