The platform is a strategic solution for investment products and client portfolio management in Switzerland, EMEA, and APAC.

The system is currently a multi-tier resilient enterprise cluster implemented with a mix of open source, vendor, and proprietary technologies. 15+ applications are based on a Platform which includes technologies like RHEL, Spring Stack, Container Runtime, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Ignite, Oracle, Ansible, Eclipse RCP, React, Angular, Prometheus/Grafana.

Responsibilities:

Your role will require focusing on platform enhancements, automation, and system improvement. We're looking for someone like that to help us:

• Maintain and upgrade existing technology stack
• Development of Ansible playbooks for release rollouts and operational purposes
• Enhancement of existing Platform service implementations
• Modernizing and maintaining mission-critica applications
• Provide 3rd Level Support of production environments

Skills

Must Have:

• Bachelor's/master's degree or equivalent with a focus in software engineering
• minimum of 10+ years of experience as software engineer for complex applications
• working experience with at least one of the following technologies: Kafka, ZooKeeper, Elasticsearch, Ignite
• extended experience in the JEE technology stack, Core Java, Spring, JPA/Hibernate, Maven
• experience with Apache/Tomcat on UNIX/Linux environment with shell script programming
• working experience with Agile methodologies
• working knowledge in tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, etc
• good communication skills and able to coordinate technical discussion and activities
• self-initiative and comfortable working on a wide range of topics
