System Recruitment Specialists is seeking an IT / IT Security Auditor for a Basel-based permanent role with a financial client.

You will independently plan and execute risk-based IT audits focusing on cybersecurity, IT operations, access management, network security, data management and emerging tech such as AI, delivering clear findings to senior management and driving control improvements.

Competenze

• 10 years of practical experience in IT, cybersecurity or technology risk.
• Hands-on experience in cyber domains: network security, IAM, vulnerability management, IT resilience.
• Experience analyzing results from penetration tests and vulnerability scanners.
• CISA, CISM, CISSP or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Interest in AI and governance; AI experience is a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~20+ days per year).
• Fluency in English; German and/or French a plus.

Mansioni

• Design and execute risk-based IT audit assignments and audit programs.
• Assess and challenge Cybersecurity, IT Risk, IT Operations, IAM, Network Security, Data Management, IT Resilience and emerging technologies including AI.
• Leverage hands-on technical experience to understand complex technology environments and identify material risks and control weaknesses.
• Analyze results from penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, security monitoring and other technical security assessments.
• Communicate audit results effectively to management and stakeholders; draft clear audit reports.
• Collaborate with IT Auditors, Business Auditors, IT Management, Cybersecurity, Risk and other internal stakeholders to strengthen controls.
