Job summary

Zurich Insurance Group is expanding its Group Audit team in Zürich. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will help shape the continued development of Zurich's audit transformation, focusing on impact and using data analytics, IT fundamentals, and GenAI to deliver valuable insights.

You will join a diverse, international team and contribute to audits across P&C and Life Insurance, working in a hybrid setup with up to 40% remote work. Fluent English and strong German are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree, or CIA, CPA, ideally actuarial.
• At least 4 years' experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance in Insurance/Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of internal audit standards and control frameworks.
• Experience with Data, IT, and AI in audits.
• Fluent English and very good German.

Responsibilities

• Plan and scope audits, assess risks, and evaluate design and operating effectiveness.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Group Audit to build deep business understanding.

In this role, you will be part of the Group Audit business unit and actively help shape the continued development of Zurich Switzerland. You will work with members of the audit team across all aspects of an audit - from planning and scoping, assessing key risks, and evaluating design and operating effectiveness, through to developing clear, impactful reporting. You will collaborate with colleagues across Group Audit, building a deep understanding of the business and its risks. Together with the audit team, you will co-develop high-quality audit approaches that leverage data analytics, assess IT fundamentals, make use of GenAI, and support reporting that provides key insights and influences stakeholders in Switzerland.

What makes you stand out

• Bachelor's or master's degree, or relevant professional qualifications (such as CIA, CPA, ideally actuarial)

• At least 4 years' experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance within Insurance or Financial Services

• Solid understanding of Internal Audit standards, methodology, and control frameworks

• Experience with Data, IT, and AI, and their practical applications

• Strong project management skills, with fluent English and very good German required
