ETH Zurich in Zürich is seeking a developer for the Network Security group to implement software for network infrastructure using SCION. You will design systems, contribute to code development, releases, testing, and maintain testbeds while supporting documentation and evaluations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in large-scale systems, strong Unix administration, and experience with Go, Rust, C/C++, Python, and OSS contributions.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in computer science or engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in design, implementation and testing of large-scale systems with emphasis on security, scalability and performance.
• 5+ years of administration of Unix-style machines and managing complex networks.
• Experience with Go, Rust, C/C++, Linux environments and Python scripting.
• Familiarity with OSS, large code bases, Git, containers, CI/CD, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Strong understanding of software engineering and system administration.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
