Job summary

Lombardi Engineering Group in the Ticino region is seeking a Project Engineer to design, execute, and deliver challenging geotechnical infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams and propose innovative, efficient solutions for each challenge.

Qualifications include a Civil Engineering degree with geotechnics specialization, 7+ years in geotechnical design, and proficiency in Rockscience and PLAXIS/FLAC. English required, Italian knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with geotechnics specialization.
• Minimum 7 years of geotechnical design experience.
• Experience with tunnels, slopes, foundations, containment structures, dams and underground works.
• Proficiency in Rockscience and PLAXIS/FLAC.
• Excellent English; Italian knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design geotechnical solutions for complex projects.
• Lead investigation campaigns and interpret tests.
• Prepare technical reports and ensure schedules/quality.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate with clients, suppliers and teams.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams on special packages.
