Job summary

Experis is seeking a full-stack developer to create a new specialist application for police administration and a reporting platform in a five-year project for a Swiss federal authority. You will implement the backend in Java/Spring Boot and the frontend in Angular, in an established Scrum team.

You will work on migrations, architecture topics, and automated tests using Cypress, and collaborate in on-site workshops.

Your Responsibilities

As a full-stack developer, you will develop a new specialist application for police administration and a reporting platform. It will replace two existing systems used by the Swiss federal administration.

You will develop both the backend and frontend using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

You will work in an established agile Scrum team with a Product Owner and Scrum Master, delivering your work according to sprint planning.

You will write automated tests, for example, using Cypress.

You will contribute to migration, further development, and architectural topics, and participate in short-notice meetings and on-site workshops.

Your Profile

Several years of experience (at least 5 years) in development with Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework.

Good knowledge of Angular (version 21 or higher).

Experience with REST and SOAP interfaces.

Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.

Experience with testing frameworks (Cypress) and in a DevOps environment.

Experience working on agile projects using Scrum.

Very good German language skills, both spoken and written (at least C1 level).

Willingness to work on-site in Bern at least two days per week.
