Job summary

Check Point Software seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge customers and engineering. You will deploy, integrate, and scale our platform in complex environments, owning success from onboarding through expansion.

You’ll design integrations, optimize performance, and sometimes build small features. This role requires travel and collaboration with multiple teams to drive customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven track record deploying deeply technical products in enterprise settings.
• Strong technical foundation with CS degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience as software/solutions/forward deployed engineer.
• Proficiency with APIs, cloud, and distributed systems; capable of building integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical success of high-value customers from onboarding to expansion.
• Deploy in on-prem, VPC, and hybrid environments with performance, scalability, and security in mind.
• Design and implement integrations across APIs, data pipelines, and authentication systems.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to optimize workflows and resolve production issues.
• Build connectors, adapters, or lightweight features to accelerate adoption.
• Work with Sales Engineers, Product, and Core Engineering to ensure smooth go-lives and expansion.
• Translate field learnings into product roadmap input.
• Travel 10–20% for deployments, workshops, and relationship building.

The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work at the frontier between customers and engineering. You’ll partner with strategic enterprise accounts to deploy, integrate, and scale our platform in complex environments.
This is a deeply technical, customer-embedded role focused on deployment success and expansion. You’ll design integrations, solve performance bottlenecks, and occasionally build small features or prototypes when needed.

You Will

• Own the technical success of a few high-value, high-touch customers from onboarding through expansion.
• Deploy in on-prem, VPC, and hybrid environments ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Design and implement integrations across APIs, data pipelines, and authentication systems.
• Work with customer engineering teams to optimize workflows, debug production issues, and tune system performance.
• Build custom connectors, adapters, or lightweight features that unblock adoption.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Product, and Core Engineering to ensure customers go live smoothly and expand usage.
• Represent customer needs internally, translating field learnings into roadmap input.
• Occasionally travel (10–20%) for deployment, workshops, and relationship building.

Qualifications

• Proven success building or deploying deeply technical products in enterprise settings.
• Strong technical foundation — degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience as a software engineer, solutions engineer, or forward deployed engineer.
• Proficiency with APIs, cloud, and distributed systems; comfortable designing and implementing integrations.
• Confident engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where outcomes matter more than process.
• Professional maturity: you’ll represent us with some of the world’s largest enterprises.
