Bank J. Safra Sarasin seeks a (Senior) FIX Engineer Specialist to join a team delivering enhancements for the group-wide execution trading system and related platforms. The role includes customization of FIX interfaces, workflow definition, project management tasks, and documentation.

You will work with FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite, Front Arena AMS, Avaloq, and related technologies, in a dynamic, globally oriented private bank environment in Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

• 5 years of practical experience in FIX interfaces.
• Industry knowledge and basic trading knowledge (Eq, FI, Deriv, FX).
• Hands-on with FIX Protocol, TLS, encryption; IT affinity with Windows OS and TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite, Front Arena AMS, Avaloq; Python is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, independent work style and risk awareness.

Your Role

As a (Senior)FIX Engineer Specialistat Bank J. Safra Sarasin you arein a team which develops enhancements and new solutions not only for our group-wide execution trading system(FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite - Front Arena AMS and Avaloq) but alsoforsurrounding systems. Additionally, youprovidecustomization and workflow definition tasks, mainly for FIX interfaces, including project management work.

Your Responsibilities

• Customize FIX interfaces
• Define IT processes and workflows within our order routing and trading systems, e.g. FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite - Front Arena AMS (market access, order routing, settlement) and Avaloq
• Implement, configure and test new functionalities
• Analyse and support on business level
• Create technical documentation

Your Profile

• Higher education (university / FH) inIT or natural sciences, with 5years of practical experience in the field ofFIX interfaces
• Required industry specific knowledge as well as basic knowledge in Trading (Eq, FI, Deriv, FX)
• Hands-on experience withFIX Protocol, TLS, encryption and profound IT-affinity, in particular with Windows NOS, TCP/IP
• Knowledge of FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite; Front Arena AMS, Avaloq and/or Python is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work with various stakeholders and willingness to take responsibility
• Capability to work independently and ability to work under pressure
• Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus
