Job Description

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

In this role, reporting to the Finance Manager MT SC Center Deliver you will support the Financials of two Distribution Hubs inclusive of the European Distribution Center (EDC) and Selzach.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyzing and explaining the Hubs Business Financial results
  • Coordinating and executing the financial closing, reporting & planning processes in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Set up fair costs allocations and execute cross-charge arrangements.
  • Perform ongoing analyses to proactively detect material risks and deviations from plan.
  • Support Hubs’ management teams in proposing actions to mitigate risk or reduce financial impacts.
  • Support continuous Cost Improvement Project (CIP).
  • Support strategic value – driving initiatives, including but not limited to capacity expansion, network design and automation efforts
  • Partnering with Key Business stakeholders across the organization (Operations, FP&A teams, Global Services).
  • Ad hoc financial analysis
Essential Qualifications
  • A minimum of Bachelors degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant business experience in a complex global environment
  • 1+ years of Supply Chain finance experience is desirable
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential
  • Experience with TM1, SAP, and Anaplan is desirable
  • Experience with automation tools (Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx, etc.) is desirable
  • Fluent in English;
