The Kistler Group, a leader in dynamic measurement technology, seeks a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer/Architect to strengthen its embedded Linux platform. You will develop BSPs and Linux drivers, shape long-term architecture, and bring up ARM/x86 platforms with kernel and U-Boot integration.

Experience with Yocto/BitBake, device trees and security aspects like Secure Boot is essential; excellent English is required, German preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field (ETH, university, UAS).
• Minimum 10+ years of experience as Senior Embedded Linux Engineer/Architect in a hardware-related environment.
• Strong knowledge in BSP and Linux driver development; kernel and bootloader integration; solid Yocto/BitBake experience.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain BSPs and Linux drivers based on a shared firmware platform.
• Shape the architecture of the embedded Linux platform and drive its long-term technical evolution.
• Bring up new ARM and x86 hardware platforms and integrate Linux kernels, bootloaders (e.g. U-Boot) and device trees.
• Address security-related aspects such as Secure Boot, software updates and vulnerability management.
• Maintain the Yocto-based build environment, support the BSPs of our products and consult product teams on Yocto, BSP and Linux topics.
