Job summary

Searchability® in Fribourg/Vaud, Switzerland, is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to own embedded architecture, develop firmware on Cortex‑M MCUs, and provide technical leadership across hardware, firmware and software domains. You will interact with customers in French and English and contribute to multiple projects.

The role is onsite with a strong Swiss benefits package, offering a challenging mix of bare‑metal and RTOS work on varied products across medical and industrial domains.

Qualifications

Strong C/C++ on embedded targets with real projects.
Experience with Cortex-M microcontrollers and RTOS environments.
Hands-on product development in small teams.
Ability to read electronics schematics and work across hardware/firmware.

Responsibilities

Define, design and review system architecture across hardware, firmware and software.
Implement firmware on bare metal and RTOS in C/C++.
Lead technical discussions with customers and guide juniors.
Maintain and improve embedded software through lifecycle stages.
