Zusammenfassung

Genius Sports is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Edge Vision Platform in the Data & AI group. You will work on real-time player tracking, analytics, and edge-based video processing for venues worldwide, focusing on the Vision platform including an iOS camera app and backend services.

The role involves ownership of long-term technical efforts, collaboration with the team, and an on-call rotation. Lausanne Jordils office visits are expected 4 days per week with flexible hours.

Qualifikationen

• Swiss/EU/EFTA citizen or residency permit in Switzerland.
• 5+ years experience as a backend or software engineer.
• Proficient with Rust, Swift or Go.
• Experience designing, implementing and operating HTTP and WebSocket services at scale.
• Strong experience with concurrent programming.
• Ability to communicate efficiently and articulate concepts based on the audience.

Aufgaben

• Design and code backend services and iOS camera application capabilities that support the Vision platform across sport venues worldwide.
• Design and code end-to-end processes enabling operational staff to autonomously deploy, monitor and diagnose video capture devices and services.
• Take ownership of long-term technical efforts and articulate design choices to technical and non-technical people.
• Collaborate closely with teammates to solve problems, share knowledge and provide actionable feedback.
• Participate in an on-call rotation that emphasizes eliminating repeating escalations.
• Visit our Lausanne Jordils office 4 times per week, with flexible hours.
