Job summary

BRUSA Elektronik AG in Buchs (CH) invites a Software Engineer – Diagnostics to shape the next generation of diagnostic functions for our inductive charging system. You will align software and system requirements, drive ASPICE-aligned processes, and collaborate with the Software Architect and cross-functional teams.

You bring 7+ years in automotive software with diagnostics, hands-on Aurix experience (STM32 a plus), and strong AUTOSAR/UDS knowledge.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics or comparable technical field.
At least 7 years in automotive software with 3+ years in diagnostics.
Hands-on experience with Infineon Aurix; knowledge of STM32 is a plus.
Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR diagnostic components (DCM/DEM) and protocols like UDS/OBD.
Strong analytical, structured work approach and problem-solving skills.
Team-oriented, good communication, proactive work style.

Responsibilities

Develop technical concepts for diagnostic functions and interfaces of the inductive charging system.
Coordinate impact of new diagnostic features on software and system architecture with stakeholders.
Define and maintain system and software requirements with verification criteria.
Ensure compliance with norms including ASPICE and ISO 15118/IEC standards.
Develop new diagnostic features and maintain function/product roadmaps with PM.
Support development and testing phases; review test results and coordinate with suppliers.
