Job summary

Manpower Switzerland is seeking an experienced CQV Manager (Commissioning, Qualification & Validation) for an international biopharmaceutical environment. You will oversee CQV activities across a portfolio of CAPEX projects, driving strategy, planning, and execution with GMP compliance.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field, 8+ years in pharma/biotech, strong leadership, and NEAT/Kneat (DeltaV is a plus); English is essential and German is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences or related field.
• 8+ years in pharma/biotech/life sciences with CQV leadership experience.
• Proven track record on large-scale CAPEX projects.
• GMP and cGMP knowledge and experience with manufacturing equipment qualification and validation.
• Experience in resource planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• NEAT/Kneat experience is required; DeltaV experience is advantageous.
• Business fluent English; German a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience in international/matrix organizations and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement CQV strategies for new facilities, equipment, and processes.
• Lead commissioning, qualification, and validation activities from planning through execution.
• Ensure GMP/regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage CQV engineers, technicians, and external partners.
• Plan resources, estimate costs, and manage schedules.
• Oversee IQ/OQ activities and validation of manufacturing equipment/processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and Regulatory Affairs teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; support audits and inspections.
• Contribute to Project Execution Plans and Project Quality Plans; drive CQV improvements.
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance.
