Zusammenfassung

Scandit AG is building a new generation of computer vision-driven retail technology. We seek a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to lead technical discovery and initial development, turning real-world video data into robust, privacy-aware models for live retail environments.

You will own the direction for action recognition in stores, prototype end-to-end systems, and work with product, data, and engineering teams to validate risky assumptions quickly and cost-effectively.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• Hands-on experience in computer vision and machine learning with production deployments.
• Proven track record building end-to-end CV/ML systems from data collection to deployment.
• Strong expertise with video-based pipelines and action/behavior recognition.
• Solid software engineering skills in Python and modern ML/CV frameworks.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, high-uncertainty environment and iterate quickly.

Aufgaben

• Define and prioritize technical experiments to validate risks in CV/ML models.
• Design and implement end-to-end CV/ML pipelines on real-world video data.
• Set up and refine annotation workflows to label training and test data.
• Collaborate with product, management, and engineering to translate requirements into roadmaps.
• Select and optimize state-of-the-art CV architectures for action detection.
• Provide technical leadership for video-based CV applications and future hiring.
