AWS EMEA SARL (Switzerland Branch) is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join the Worldwide Specialist Organization in the Infrastructure Migration and Modernization team, based in Zurich. You will drive migration paths from on-prem VMware to AWS native services, covering Linux, storage, databases, and container workloads, collaborating closely with sales, product, and field teams.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years design/implementation/consulting with x86-based apps and infrastructure
• 6+ years managing technical, customer-facing teams
• 6+ years migrating and modernising Microsoft workloads to cloud
• Experience with VMware or similar datacenter hypervisor solutions
• Experience migrating Linux, storage and databases to the cloud

Aufgaben

• Work with aligned sales to provide business support and scale go-to-market motions within EU-Central region.
• Represent the voice of the customer; collaborate with field and EU-Central teams to bring feedback to product teams.
• Provide specialist technical knowledge to unblock customers' largest business challenges.
• Collaborate with WWSO colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing for local events.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices via AWS blogs, whitepapers, and public-speaking at events like AWS Summit.
• Create internal field enablement materials for migration of VMware on-prem datacenters to AWS migration pathways.
• Be an active member and contributor to the AWS Technical Field Community.
