Foxmont Talent is partnering with a Swiss technology company in the Zurich region to hire a Senior Cloud Engineer focused on Azure, infrastructure, and DevOps. The role blends design, implementation and ongoing optimization of cloud environments in a hybrid setup.

You will work across Azure, Microsoft 365, security and automation, contributing to cloud migration and modernisation while collaborating with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure or DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server, networking and virtualisation.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop or Modern Workplace technologies.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation using Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible or comparable tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or other cloud-native technologies is advantageous.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
• Understanding of cloud security, firewalls, identity management and infrastructure protection.
• Experience with Linux environments is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within technical teams.
• Ability to interview and communicate professionally in German and English is a major advantage.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement and maintain Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure, virtual machines and Windows Server environments.
• Support Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace and Azure Virtual Desktop solutions.
• Develop infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Work with containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Implement and maintain network, firewall and cloud security solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and cloud-related issues.
• Contribute to cloud migration, modernisation and infrastructure transformation projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and technical stakeholders on infrastructure improvements.
