Zusammenfassung

Groupe SII in Lausanne is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design and manage AWS infrastructure with a focus on reliability, security, and performance. You will implement IaC with Terraform, own and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and drive cloud cost optimization.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and address security gaps. Fluency in English; German or French a plus. Start date: 01/09/2026; Location: Lausanne, permanent contract.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related infra role.
• Hands-on AWS experience including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda.
• Proficiency with Terraform module design and state management.
• Solid CI/CD experience with GitLab.
• Bash or Python scripting skills.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication and autonomous work style.
• Willingness to work on shift.
• Experience with AWS security tooling: GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config.
• Knowledge of observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
• AWS Solutions Architect or Terraform Associate cert; multi-account AWS Org experience.
• Knowledge of Azure.

• Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and security gaps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related infrastructure role.
• Deep hands‑on expertise in AWS – including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Terraform, including module design, state management, and environment promotion.
• Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex problems.
• Ability to work on shift.
• Experience with AWS security tooling: GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config.
• Knowledge of observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• AWS Solutions Architect or HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification.
• Experience with multi‑account AWS Organizations setups.
• Knowledge of Azure.
